NEED YOUR ADVICE...PLEASE!
Friends, let me share some good news for my family regarding my autistic son, Jordan. Jordan, at 13, has FINALLY stopped urinating on the bathroom floor! He finally gets it! I don't know why but he's stopped!
Here's my question to you....Jordan has picked up a habit of licking objects, just about anything. He licks books, picture frames, windows, tables, playground equipment, the sofa, etc. You get the idea, don't you? It's not only upsetting to me and my family but it's also dangerous. Only the Lord knows what Jordan is licking and what potential germs he is ingesting.
Please give me your advice and ideas on the comments section of my blog, I'd like to help Jordan stay safe and help him not cave in to this licking impulse.

My son Jordan, attends a Rockville, MD school called Rock Terrace. Rock Terrace is a Montgomery County Public School only for special needs students. The group, Kiwanis of Rockville, has been a consistant and faithful supporter of Rock Terrace's events. This school now would like your help in supporting the Kiwanis of Rockville by attending their ALL-YOU-CAN- EAT PANCAKE AND SAUSAGE BREAKFAST, on December 1, 2012, from 7A-12N, at the Montgomery College-Rockville Campus cafeteria. Please buy for yourself or as a gift for others, tickets through Rock Terrace. Tickets are $6 per person. Checks may be directed to Kiwanis of Rockville. For tickets, please call 301-279-4940 and ask for Karen Goozner. ON A PERSONAL NOTE: this is a terrific school. I wanted my son to attend this school as he entered middle school (RTerrace provides schooling from 6th grade to 21 years old), so much that I had to hire an advocate to fight my son's way into that school!
