COMMUNITY SAFETY PROGRAM with Officer Michael Prather, Public Communications Officer of the Montgomery County Police will be discussing guidelines to protect ourselves when walking in the neighborhood. Because of our adult children with disabilites walk in the neighborhoods and use public transportation, learn what to do if you are threatened or attacked, who to contact and what to expect from the police in handling a reported incident. NAVAGATING THE FINANCIAL WORLD OF THE FAMILY WITH SPECIAL NEEDS WORKSHOP sponsored by the M&L Special Needs Planning, LLC, will be held at the National Children's Center, Northwest Campus, in Washington, DC, November 29, 2012, from 6:30-9P.
